Install Galaxy and run galaxy start — a guided Setup UI handles the complexity behind a browser interface, so no manual PostgreSQL, nginx, SSL or reverse-proxy configuration is needed to see the first screen.
On a fresh install, galaxy start detects no configured site or database and launches a lightweight browser installer guiding Local Development, Single Server, Multi-Site Server or Existing Infrastructure — with almost automatic setup for local development.
